You took the essence from them and transformed an "Eisenhower V" model into something just for us. Never having done this before, it was a pleasure to be walked through the process by experienced designers and trades people. We had fund doing it all! As a young couple looking for a builder for our first home, after much consideration, we decided on having Ernie White build us a home. As with most young couples, we were on a budget and Ernie worked with us to a home that met our needs. He puts many "extras" in his homes with no extra charge - they are standard features. He takes pride in every home he builds. He is both dependable and reliable; always making sure the homeowner is foremost in his consideration. That first home was built for us over 25 years ago. I can drive past that home and it still looks good. His quality and workmanship are superior and his homes are proof of that. Over the years, we have referred many of our friends and family to Ernie. The Barnett Family We choose Lakeland as our retirement haven for a number of reasons; for its charming downtown area, accessibility to great medical care, shopping, restaurants and of course located between Orlando and Tampa. We had heard of Ernie White Construction Inc as a custom home builder of some renown. We were also intrigued to learn Lake James was awarded several accommodations not only for its superior home building, but also as a blue ribbon community. We have admired Ernie White Homes for several years, the quality of the construction and both exterior and interior workmanship is by far superior. When we heard of Lake James Gated Community - 55+ we decided to have or home built in this community to enjoy the swimming pool and beautiful club house with our neighbors. We were sold on Ernie's first-class construction, and decided that we'd never buy another home unless it was built by Ernie White Construction. Well, lo and behold, in 2005, Ernie and Jeff Stephenson were developing an Adult Community on Lake James. We were hooked! We had our dream home built and moved in to this lovely home in June 2005. Ernie is not only a tremendous builder, but he is a man of character. He always does the right thing so a person or couple never need worry and wonder about the home that is being built. The Stalvey Family Our first home in Lakeland was built by Ernie White 17 tears ago. We were new to the area, but already Ernie had a great reputation for quality building. The planning and construction phases were completed without a hitch and on schedule. In the past we heard so many horror stories from our friends about other builders, and building a new home in general, we were surprised it was so easy. As a result of the wonderful experience we had with Ernie so long ago, we went to him for our new home in Eaglebrooke. Again, we had a great experience and it was actually fun watching our plans come to life.
